Options Counselor Service Link, Berlin
The Options counselor provides assistance to caregivers, veterans, people with disabilities, elders and the general population to connect to resources with support and guidance. The Option counselor provides person-centered needs assessments, counseling and referrals, preliminary care planning and short term tracking based on the consumer’s needs, preferences and situation, for persons in need of support and services.
Education required is a Bachelor’s degree in human services, health care or related field. This is a part time position, 24 hours per week.

Workplace Success Program Specialist, Littleton
Tri-County CAP is looking for a program specialist to provide job search assistance, job readiness instruction, embedding training and basic vocational training for public assistance recipients in the Workplace Success Program.
The position is 40 hours/week and based in Littleton NH, though it sometimes requires travel & staff support at other nearby WPS Career Centers. Duties include The NHEP Workplace Success (WPS) Program Specialist will provide job search assistance, job readiness instruction, embedded training, and basic vocational skills through group and individualized instruction using traditional and technology-based tools. Additionally, the Specialist will develop and coordinate Work Experience (WEP) and On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunities for TANF public assistance recipients with area for-profit and non-profit employers consistent with the job goals in the participant’s Career Plan. In this dual-function capacity, the Specialist will provide coverage as appropriate for WPS Coordinators and Community Job Specialists at WPS Career Centers.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline. Two (2) years of work experience in counseling, teaching, social services or business involving career counseling, employee development, social work or human resources; experience working with low income families or individuals with job barriers; knowledge of area businesses, community organizations, & economy; ability to actively engage local employers & community-based organizations in providing Internship and job opportunities for adult job seekers; knowledge of principles & methods of vocational assessment; experience delivering group training & workshops; ability to multi-task in class setting; ability to energize & motivate adult job seekers; solid verbal & written communication; skills. Tri-County CAP is looking for an Employment Navigator. Ideal candidate will provide employment counseling for Workplace Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA) participants.
This position will work part time and is based in the Conway NHES office. As an employment counselor the employee will work individually with WIOA adult and dislocated workers to develop individualized training and reemployment plans.
Requirements: Bachelor’s level degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education or Human Services. 3 years’ experience in employment counseling and case management. Combination of education and/or experience may be substituted. Working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office software.

Substance Abuse Counselor/ LADAC
- Must be New Hampshire Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.
- Must have a minimum of a BA Degree in the Human Services Field or three years experience as an educator, caseworker or counselor in the substance abuse field.
- Requires a working knowledge of the disease of all drug dependency, the progression of all chemical dependency and the 12 Step Program of Recovery.
- Must be able to perform job responsibilities under stressful conditions.
- Proven knowledge of the treatment continuum of care and referral sources along with the capacity to relate to individual customers in a firm, supportive and caring manner.
- Must have the ability to perform job description with minimal supervision.
- Must have experience with dually diagnosed customers.
