Head Start Cook, Groveton

Cook Tri-County CAP Head Start Groveton Area Program Requires skills in cooking in quantity, the ability to manage food services, complete necessary records and work with young children and their families.

This is a full-time, up to 35 hrs./wk., and up to 39 wks./yr. position. Salary is $9.72/hr. Benefits package with paid school vacations and sick leave as accrued.

Transit Bus Driver, P/T Carroll County

Tri County Transit is looking for a part-time driver in the Carroll County area. Options Counselor ServiceLink, Berlin 

The Options counselor provides assistance to caregivers, veterans, people with disabilities, elders and the general population to connect to resources with support and guidance. The Option counselor provides person-centered needs assessments, counseling and referrals, preliminary care planning and short term tracking based on the consumer’s needs, preferences and situation, for persons in need of support and services.

Substance Abuse Counselor/ LADAC

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be New Hampshire Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.
Must have a minimum of a BA Degree in the Human Services Field or three years experience as an educator, caseworker or counselor in the substance abuse field.
Requires a working knowledge of the disease of all drug dependency, the progression of all chemical dependency and the 12 Step Program of Recovery.
Must be able to perform job responsibilities under stressful conditions.
Proven knowledge of the treatment continuum of care and referral sources along with the capacity to relate to individual customers in a firm, supportive and caring manner.
Must have the ability to perform job description with minimal supervision.
Must have experience with dually diagnosed customers.

Guardian, Concord

Tri-County CAP is recruiting a Staff Guardian for our Concord, NH office. Job Duties include providing advocacy and making informed decisions on behalf of incapacitated individuals. The selected candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Confidentiality is a must. Knowledge of the NH service delivery system is a plus.

Homeless Outreach Intervention Specialist, Lebanon

Tyler Blain House Shelter Support Staff, Lancaster

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with needs and appointments.
Maintain resident files and case notes as necessary
Develop Plans of Action with shelter guests as assigned by the manager
Offer ongoing case management to ensure that residents are following their Plan of Action
Answering the shelter telephone while on duty
Conduct intake of new residents while on duty to include bed bug protocol, the search of belongings prior to admittance, and a criminal background check
Handling resident and house emergencies
Deal sensitively and effectively with clients
Securing the property at curfew
Enforce the resident Code of Conduct
Report any violations of the Code of Conduct to the Shelter Manager in writing promptly
Abide by the Homeless Ethics Policy
Conduct daily temperature readings for Food Pantry freezers, completion of the chore assignments and daily room checks to include mattress and traps for bed bugs.

Job Requirements:
Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed, with proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used, is required.
Work flexible hours. Able to cover scheduled duties without complication.
Be able to work autonomously and as a team
General knowledge of office equipment. Be able to use a phone, use MS Word, Excel, and Access
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Successfully complete CPI training and updates as necessary
Good math skills
Perform program support staff duties as necessary
