Support Center at Burch House Annual Open House

At the Burch House’s Annual Open House, staff welcomed the community to learn more about the work for people recovering from domestic and/or sexual violence. The Burch House’s skilled team works to help clients create a new future, one of strength and resilience, building on healthy relationships. The Support Center at Burch House, a program of Tri-County Community Action Program, Inc. is a program of prevention and support for victims of domestic and sexual violence near Littleton. They provide community education as well as advocacy and shelter for those fleeing abuse. Through court, support groups, medical and police advocacy in the last year, the Support Center served roughly 526 individuals, including 53 in our shelter, where we provided 3,390 bed nights. Our outreach and education efforts reached 300 students and about 2,000 community members at fairs, expos, and other events.
