Display your sign on
Tri-County CAP Transit vehicles as part of our sponsorship program.
Our sponsorship program offers a spot on one of our buses to display
a sign that will promote your business as well as helping the
community’s public transportation. Some of your current and future
customers may be using public transportation for their everyday
needs. Your sign could be prominently displayed as a sponsor of
Tri-County CAP Transit.
Tri-County CAP Transit
can make your business information the most accessible in the area.
The Buses run Monday through Friday (Saturdays
on some routes),
transporting patrons to and from local businesses and traveling
around your local business area where your community can see your
sign and here who you are.

Sponsorship
What is a sponsorship and what can be
on the signs and in Audio?
As a non-profit organization we do not sell
advertisement, but rather offer a space to display a sign to promote your
business in return for financial support of local public transportation.
As defined by the IRS publication (598):
How is “advertising”
defined? (NOT ALLOWED)
Advertising is any
message or other programming material that is broadcast, or otherwise
transmitted, published, displayed, or distributed, and which promotes or
markets any trade or business, or any service, facility, or product.
Advertising includes messages containing comparative or qualitative
language, price information, indications of savings or value (such as
coupons), an endorsement, or an inducement to purchase, sell, or use any
service, facility, or product. A single message that contains both
advertising and an acknowledgement is advertising.
How is sponsorship
“use and acknowledgement” defined?
(ALLOWED)
Use and acknowledgement
consist of:
(a) Logos and slogans that do not contain
comparative or qualitative descriptions of the sponsor’s products, services,
facilities, or company;
(b)
A list of the sponsor’s locations, telephone numbers, or Internet
address;
(c)
Value-neutral descriptions, including displays or visual depictions,
of the sponsor’s product-line or services;
(d)
The sponsor’s brand or trade names and product or service listings;
and
(e) Exclusive sponsorship
arrangements.
The text, illustrations and
material used for sign(s) shall be subject to prior approval by TCCT. TCCT’s
decisions shall be final. No political, alcoholic beverages, tobacco
products or religious advertising is allowed. The theme should be in the
best interest of the community and general public.
Audio Vehicle
Sponsorship
We are proud to introduce our new Audio
Sponsorship Program. Direct Auditory Marketing to the customers riding the
bus near your business. Up to a 60 second audio recording will be played
once every 45 minutes on the public transit bus that travels passengers
Monday-Friday in your businesses area. Let our passengers shopping, eating
and exploring know who you are, where you are, and what you have for them
while they ride all at a budget friendly price.
Up to 60 second Audio Sponsorship on TCCT
Vehicles: $300.00 per month
(81 plays per week for a total of
324 plays per month)
Optional Audio
Recording/Copy Writing/Unlimited Voices: $150.00
(You may provide your own
recording with TCCT approval)
Total Start-Up Fee for
Recording and Audio Sponsorship Package: $450.00
Renewal After single month: $300.00 – (for
all subsequent single-month periods)
Some Package Rates may apply.
Non-Profit rates are one half of listed rates above.
Interior
Vehicle Sponsorship
Design/Layout/Lamination/Creation of Display: $40.00 – (one-time
fee)
Space Rental on TCCT Vehicles:
$15.00 per month – (in
three-month blocks)
Total Start-Up Fee: $85.00
– (furnishing of display
and three-month sponsorship)
Renewal After three months:
$45.00 – (subsequent
3-month periods)
Client supplied
signs must meet the following specifications:
17'' width by 11'' height, and must be laminated.
These inside signs can be
switched out on a monthly basis for those clients that wish to promote to a
different target market. Any client wishing to switch-out their interior
sign must give TCCT 2 days notice and supply TCCT with the replacement sign
within one day of giving notice.
Brochure Rack
Sponsorship
$15.00 / one month or
$60.00 / six months
– The Sponsor must provide
North Country Transit with a supply of brochures or flyers. NCT will contact
the client when the supply is running low.
Attention Restaurateurs:
Riders often ask our
drivers, "Where is a good place to eat?"
This is a wonderful opportunity to
promote your restaurant.
Interior spaces, Audio Sponsorship
and brochure racks are perfect for displaying your menu.
Exterior
Vehicle Sponsorship
Design/Layout/Creation of Display: $50.00 – (one-time
fee)
Sponsorship on TCCT Vehicles: $40.00 per month
Total Start-Up Fee: $90.00 – (furnishing
and display for one month)
Renewal After single month: $40.00 – (for
all subsequent single-month periods)
Sponsorship Package on TCCT Vehicles: $200.00 for six months
Total Start-Up Fee for Sponsorship package: $250.00 – (furnishing
and display for six-months)
Renewal After six months: $200.00 – (for
all subsequent six-month periods)
The design/set-up fee is a
“one-time” only charge, and the signage will be maintained and/or replaced
as wear and tear and weathering necessitate – at no cost to sponsors.
Should a sponsor wish to
provide his own display, the $50.00 set-up fee will be waived. However, the
sponsor supplied signs must meet the following specifications:
23” width by 26” height.
It must be constructed of sturdy, weather-resistant material. Signs are
currently made through 7th Street Graphics and are constructed of
aluminum with vinyl graphics.
