Janice Perreault

We will miss your laughter and your big heart.

Mrs. Janice Gertrude (Smith) Perreault, 68, of Riverside Drive, Berlin, NH passed away suddenly on March 22, 2008

after suffering from pneumonia and serious related complications. She was born in Berlin, NH, on April 4, 1939 the daughter of John and Evelyn (Michaud) Smith and was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in 1957, recently celebrating her 50th class reunion. Janice worked at Granite State Converse and Bass Shoe Companies, and The Berlin Reporter, finishing her career with many years of service at the Tri-County Community Action Program. She volunteered her time and service for several organizations including Androscoggin Valley Hospital and St. Kieran Church.

She was also a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary to the VFW - Post 2520.

"Nana Jan" was fond of babysitting her many “adopted” grandchildren, enjoyed reading and crosswords,

attending Mass at Good Shepherd Parish, and visiting and spoiling her beloved first grandson, Matthew, in California.

Janice is fondly remembered by all who knew her as someone with a generous spirit and she will be greatly missed.

What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.

~ Helen Keller
