Tri-County CAP’s Alcohol and
Other Drug Services program offers outpatient alcohol and drug
counseling services. It is a community service for individuals of all
ages who have a problem with substance abuse. Services are available in
Woodsville or Berlin.
Services being offered are individual, couple, adolescent, group
and family counseling, and consultations/evaluations for other
health care professionals.
Friendship House at Woodsville is funded in part through the generosity
of the New Hampshire Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, Housing and Urban
Development, Grafton County Commissioners, United Way and the New
Hampshire Charitable-Foundation. No individual is denied treatment due to
an inability to pay for services. A repayment program, however, must be
worked out with the secretary/receptionist on an individual basis.
Our Employee Assistance Program (E.A.P.) can be designed to meet
the individual needs of local businesses in dealing with absenteeism,
reduced production, increased stress and many other concerns in regards to
an employer/employee relationship. Our in-service trainings, which
are also a component of the E.A.P. program, help to educate employers at
different levels as to how to recognize and best deal with substance use
and abuse in the work place. Please contact our office for additional
information.
No person shall be excluded from participation in this program on the
grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap.
